Why do we call ourselves The Bridge?
- Because Jesus became the bridge between God and man. When Jesus came to earth, he said in John 14:6, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” The cross of Jesus became the bridge that provides forgiveness for the sins of mankind so that any person who believes in Jesus can have a relationship with God.
- Because we want to be a bridge that connects people to God and one another. Our church desires to reach people in a way that would paint a picture of the body of Christ as seen in Revelation 5:9. We strive for a picture of having a community from every tribe, language, people, and nation gathered around the throne of Christ. With this purpose, The Bridge seeks to foster multi-ethnic ministries to connect people from different cultural backgrounds.
