Each week we kick our services off with a time of community worship. These songs are intentionally chosen to be both an accurate portrayal of Jesus Christ and an intimate expression of our faith.
We get that for some of our attenders, a time of worship may not be comfortable at first. That is why we format our services with a time of small talk (see below) so those who only wish to come for the conversation can do so without feeling awkward.
Have you ever had a question during a sermon but no one to ask? Or have ever felt uncomfortable asking a question because of the response you might get?
Our model of preaching takes away the disappointment and awkwardness of not asking a question by changing our sermons from lectures to conversations. Each week, we break a 30 minute sermon into 3 sections. Each section includes a time of discussion around individual tables. This is a safe and confidential time for people to share their doubts, their questions, or their thoughts. Led by a member of our leadership, you will be heard and valued, even when there is a disagreement.
Our services are specifically designed for interaction and engagement throughout:
Our "Time of Response" is an opportunity for you to respond to what you have just heard:
Each response is viewed equally and without any judgment on our part. We want you to feel comfortable and at peace when you leave our services, knowing that the response you made was yours to make and not forced upon you.
We Hope to See You Next Tuesday!
